LIC Exam For ADO Post
LIC ADO is a sales administrative job. ADO job role under LIC exam requires the personnel to take responsibility for recruiting people as LIC Insurance Agents and inspecting existing policies.
The ADO recruitment is conducted to fill the vacancies for the post of Apprentice Development Officer.
LIC Apprentice Development Officer recruitment is not an annual process. The last notification for the post of LIC ADO was released on 1st June 2015. The recruitment was open only for the Central Zonal Office, Bhopal.

LIC DSE full form is Direct Sales Executive. LIC annually conducts recruitment of DSE personnel for various Zonal Office of LIC purely on a contract basis for three years.

LIC Exam Syllabus And Paper Pattern D.O. Post
The LIC exam for the recruitment of Development Officer is conducted in two phases:
Phase -I: Written examination
Phase-II: Group discussion and interview
The written examination is objective type paper of 2 hours. There are four sections to this exam.
- Reasoning
- English language
- General awareness
- Numerical ability
Each section carries 50 questions making a total of 200 questions.
There is negative marking of (0.25) marks for each wrong attempt in the written exam of LIC D.O. examination.
Qualified candidates in the written exam are called for Group Discussion and Interview round.
Shortlisted candidates in the GD and PI round are eligible for final selection. Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in both Phase-I and Phase-II for final selection.
