CAT (Common Admission Test)

CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level computer based management entrance examination conducted every year by one of the IIMs (Indian Institute Of Management) in the country for admission to several postgraduate management courses.

CAT is considered as one of the toughest entrance examination and the candidates need to crack this entrance test to get a seat in any of the prestigious management institutes in India including IIMs, SPJIMR, IMT, etc. CAT 2016 was conducted by IIM Bangalore when nearly 2.32 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. In CAT 2018, total registration was 2.4 lakh and was conducted by IIM Calcutta along with TCS as the testing partner. CAT 2019 was conducted by IIM Kozhikode on 24th November 2019. As CAT scores set the benchmark to be accepted by the IIMs, candidates need to arm themselves with the best tips and tricks to crack the exam in the shortest possible time.
